Aaron Sorkin is an Academy and Emmy-award winning American screenwriter, producer, and playwright, whose works include A Few Good Men (1992), The American President (1995), Charlie Wilson's War (2007), The Social Network (2010), and Moneyball (2011). In the early 1990s, Sorkin worked under contract for Castle Rock Entertainment, Inc. Sorkin did uncredited script doctor work on several films in the 1990s for such films as The Rock (1996), Excess Baggage (1997, Enemy of the State (1998) and Bulworth (1998). He has several successful television series where he worked as a screenwriter such as, "Sports Night", "The West Wing" and "The Newsroom".
