Richard King is an Academy Award-winning American sound designer and editor who has worked on over 70 films. He won the Academy Award for Best Sound Editing for the films Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003), The Dark Knight (2008) and Inception (2010) and was also nominated for War of the Worlds (2005). Other notable films he has worked on include Twister, Magnolia, Pollock, The Prestige, and There Will Be Blood.
