Viola Davis is an Academy Award winning actress who rose to fame on screen with her standout performance in 2009's Doubt. Her work on stage has earned her two Tony Awards (in 2001 for "King Hedley II" and in 2010 for "Fences") as well as a two Drama Desk Awards. Her powerful performance portraying Aibileen Clark in the film adaptation of Kathryn Stockett's book, The Help has brought her much critical acclaim as a serious dramatic actress.
